Abigail Lynn is a painter and experimental artist based in Greater Chicago Area, Illinois. She has recently graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History. Her practice centers around creating vibrant artwork on canvas, paper, found objects, and sculpture.
Abigail’s work explores themes such as familial bonds, rare diseases, decay, gun violence in schools, and interpretive landscapes, often navigating the space between tenderness and unease...embracing the flux of life, the tension between presence and impermanence, and the quiet contradictions that shape our shared experience.
She is currently working on her first public mural, accepting commissions, painting in her home studio, and sculpting imaginative creatures and eerie figures in the pages of her sketchbook.
When she’s not covered in paint, she enjoys spending time with her two cats, Neo and Marcie, and chasing down beautiful sunsets, both as inspiration and as moments of stillness.
I have two cats, the black cat is Neo, and the long-haired one is Marceline :)
